Before becoming a photographer, I spent more than a decade as a full time professional Interior Designer in Brisbane and London, also lecturing Interior Design at QUT. Now I love combining my skills to offer a premium service to my photography clients. After a relaxed family photo session I can guide you to creating luxury artworks for your family to cherish. This can be an in home session where I take photos of your own walls and design artwork together, or we can do this online too.

I offer Australian made high quality products including framed prints, gorgeous framed canvas or my absolute favourite, framed metal prints. These are glossy, unique and look great in both traditional and modern homes. My bespoke albums are beautifully hand created, and there is a range of smaller art options for your sideboard or desk to complement the larger pieces you might like to display. My products offer a 75 year unconditional guarantee not to fade, warp or deteriorate so these are a true investment and will become family heirlooms.

The Family Photography Experience

1. Phone Consultation and Booking

Contact me and I’ll chat with you about the type of session you would like. Out in a park under the trees or maybe somewhere near a creek or sandy beach? Sure! At a place that holds special significance for your family…sounds perfect! Or sometimes photos at home are the most special. I’ve got lots of ideas of places to go if you are not sure. Sessions are usually outdoors, look most beautiful in the late afternoon light during the magical ‘golden hour’ and take up to around an hour.

To confirm your booking a photo session fee is required to be paid of $250. This includes $100 product credit toward your choice of any of my range of beautiful products. No digital files are included in the session fee.

2. Before the session

I’ll find out a bit about all of your family members…pets too if they are coming! And we will also chat about what you would love to create with your images. FOTOFOX offers wonderful wall art, delightful desk or coffee table art and amazing bespoke fine art albums. We can tailor your shoot to suit what you’re dreaming of creating. Some families love a big hero print on the wall, or alternatively a collection of smaller artworks. Others prefer something smaller to hold in their hands, that they can sit and look at on the couch. We can make it all happen!

I will also help you with your questions on what to wear and what to expect from your photo experience. Rest assured that a family photography session with FOTOFOX is fun!

3. Your Photography Session

When you arrive, we’ll likely go for a casual walk, taking relaxed photos along the way, helping you to feel at ease. Often your session will be all about exploring the area we are in and finding perfect little moments of very real interaction between your family. Expect giggles and laughter while we get the kids being a bit cheeky too! The sessions are usually all done within an hour.

4. Selecting the images you love

If possible, I would love to come to your home and help you select the images you love most and decide how you would like to display them. Since my background is as an Interior Designer of many years, I am perfectly placed to help you choose artworks in a shape and size that will suit your space perfectly.

5. Enjoy your artworks and albums
